Old school truck
Aug 02, 2023
Have owned this 04 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab V8 for about 6 years. It is a good old fashioned truck, it does't have all the fancy stuff you see on the newer trucks today but it gets the job done. I use it to haul stuff like firewood, furniture and other home depot supplies. It has plenty of power in the city but I wish it had more grunt on the highway. The fuel economy is not too bad I get about 20mpg on the highway. I do all of the maintenance myself and have not run into any major issues.

Only need to add gas
Aug 02, 2023
To my surprise this truck has lasted way past its expiration date. I have been using it for hauling and for towing a small utility trailer and I have not experienced any major problems. The only big issue I have had was with the rear differential but that was resolved without me going broke so again not much to complaint about. This thing has the older 4.7 * cylinder and I with the truck did better on gas, I average 10 mpg in town, and 16mpg on the highway.
